A personal narrative

Zooming time with our little champs

Here are my two cents gathered over the years of being a teacher, trainer, program manager/ coordinator, and now an entrepreneur.

Nobody knows but I am inducted into teaching because of my mother. I had my earliest lessons of pedagogy, teaching strategies, extra-curricular activities, working with hands started right from my childhood. My mom is an excellent mentor, someone who can help children to explore new sides of themselves. In the era of 90s and 2000s when nothing else mattered than the report card, she made sure to include reading, essay writing, poetry, stage plays, exhibitions, mini-projects, at times athletic…

The Truth about Our Evolution

No, this is not about science. My article is not about the Theory of Evolution by Charles Darwin. I am talking about evolution as a generic term, which affects you, me and the people around us. This is a story of constant effort to reinvent and evolve.

For the last few months, my social media presence was restricted only to share a few forwarded posts on Facebook and share some personal pictures on Instagram. Though I am a social media savvy person, I didn’t feel like posting anything. But I would like to start using my social media again and…

From the Personal Account of Memories

Shiv mandir, Ambernath. Credits: Wikipedia

I am fond of Ancient Temple Architecture since my childhood. Maybe that is because I was staying near to this one while growing up. We never really valued what we had in the neighbourhood at that time but now I realise that what we had back then was a treasure. This 1000-year-old Shiv mandir of Ambernath was built during the times of Pandavas from Mahabharata.

A couple of times we got to know archaeologist found some 1000 years old stones somewhere nearby. We were so ignorant that we never cared to find out more about them. Even we ignored visiting…

It's that day of the year when I should celebrate, it's the 'World Creativity and Innovation Day' today! What's so special about this day but? I always wanted to write about this; not about the day but on about one of the most important part of my life - creativity and innovation.

The story isn't just about my professional life but the thread of creativity and innovation weaves my identity, thoughts, feelings, personal life and professional life together. Creativity and innovation have no boundaries. You can be creative and innovative…

Life Lessons from Entrepreneurship

Where to draw the line is a question.

They say to keep it lean, keep it simple. Minimalism is the way to go but often we feel it is not enough.

There is always a need and the desire to do more, to have more, to give more and to take more.

Working with minimum resources in the beginning, and slowly upgrading them is always a lesson that we learn but it is seldom easy to know the exact need an exact amount of resources you should be utilizing.

Always working under constraint may not be a good idea too…

Working from a cafe in the pre-COVID world

And I realised it is about journeys and not destinations!

It is about constantly learning new things, taking up new challenges, discovering unknown terrains, doing something you were never comfortable with. Stealing smallest moments of laughter, gratitude and pleasures.

It is about discovering your new self every day, it is about the changing plans, it is about breaking your own perceptions, biases and judgements, redefining success for yourself, it is about having the difficult conversations, losing your mind at times, from not having time to have your food to gaining back your balance, it is not just a thing. it is what defines you as a person, for the world but most importantly, for yourself…!

I have been constantly learning new things every single day yet it feels infinite like an ocean. It is truly a journey worth travelling.

Reflection on Existential Questions

This post is not meant to comment or convey a message but it’s a reflection on life’s difficult questions which lead to some more questions. Thoughts and perspectives welcome.

I have seen people with vision and people without it. People who take life one day at a time and people who have plans of a lifetime. I don’t see a reason for people without purpose not to be happy and people with purpose to have the most fulfilling lives. Not sure which is better than the other!

Thinking if purpose or vision is the only driving force. Can we lead…

Trigger Warning: Views are personal. No offence to anyone. This post may have views radically different than yours. Please take them as a critical perspective.

NITI Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission launched its AI curriculum in collaboration with Nasscom Foundation for Atal Tinkering Labs. While it looks good at a surface level, someone please help me to understand why are we running behind AI?

I have been into student innovation programs for a while now and I have seen the kinds of innovations coming out of them. There have been examples of brilliant ideas too but mostly it is all about…

A perspective from the Innovation Ecosystem

Looking at innovation through the lens of gender...

This is not a mainstream debate as women empowerment or that of gender and education but something to be thought of. Something relatable but inarticulate.

A journey in the innovation space for a girl is not easy or difficult but, complex to understand.

A male dominant free space where people talk about doing new things, taking initiatives, leading the change and becoming changemakers offers the freedom to navigate for a lady. In my experience, nobody bothered about the gender and I never had any friction because…
